Events are free unless otherwise noted. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, June 8 <\/strong><br \/>\nNicole Krauss reads from her novel, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.powells.com\/cgi-bin\/partner?partner_id=29240&#038;cgi=product&#038;isbn=0393060349\">The History of Love<\/a><\/em>, at 7 pm at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookstore.com\">A Clean Well-Lighted Place for Books<\/a> on Van Ness in San Francisco.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nThursday, June 9 <\/strong><br \/>\nDavid Sedaris reads at 7 pm at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.booksmith.com\">Booksmith<\/a> on Haight in San Francisco.  <\/p>\n<p>Nicole Krauss reads at <a href=\"http:\/\/keplers.booksense.com\">Kepler&#8217;s<\/a> in Menlo Park at 7:30 pm. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday, June 12<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.826valencia.org\">826 Valencia<\/a> hosts a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.826valencia.org\/workshops\/adult\/003806\">seminar on writing and publishing poetry<\/a> from 6 until 9 pm. Panelists include Robert Hass, Brenda Hillman, Joyce Jenkins, and Genny Lim . James Kass, the executive director of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youthspeaks.org\">Youth Speaks<\/a>, will moderate. Tickets are $15.
